Japanese publisher KADOKAWA announced today that Ryuto's isekai sci-fi light novel series Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship! will receive an anime adaptation. It is not yet clear when and how the anime will be distributed as of this reporting. Seven Seas Entertainment, which has licensed the English editions of both the novel and manga , describes the synopsis as such: When Satou Takahiro is swept away from his ordinary life into the world of his favorite video game, a universe of space battles, interstellar colonies, and danger in the vastness of outer space awaits.
