PlayStation’s State of Play 2025 Delivers Silent Hill f, Digimon Story Details

On the day of a new console launch from Nintendo, PlayStation held it’s State of Play 2025 this morning, revealing the upcoming line-up of titles for the PlayStation 5 and some strays still heading to PlayStation 4. These include a new trailer and date for Digimon Story Time Stranger , a demo for Nioh 3 and a surprise announcement of a new Marvel fighting game by a popular Yokohama-based studio. PlayStation State of Play June 2025 Highlights Romeo is a Dead Man was announced from the bizarre mind of Suda51, best known for Lollipop Chainsaw and the No More Heroes series. The time-bending game is set to release in 2026. Silent Hill f announced its September 25 release date with a spooky new trailer. Digimon Story Time Stranger got its October 3, 2025 release date alongside a brand new trailer showing Shinjuku dealing with the onslaught of Digimon. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles was announced as a remake of the original Tactics game for PS4 and PS5. The game comes with both the remake, which includes voice acting and a new interface and the original, with players able to toggle between the two. It’s set to release on September 30, 2025. RELATED: New Digimon Story RPG and More Revealed in Latest PlayStation Showcase Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection was announced as a collection featuring the classic games from the franchise. These include Mortal Kombat 1 through to 4 , Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 , Mortal Kombat Advance and “more.” The retro collection is set to release later this year on PS4 and PS5. Nioh 3 , which is set to release in 2026, got a new trailer that announced an alpha demo that releases today. Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater got a new gameplay trailer ahead of its August 28, 2025, release. To cap off the State of Play today, PlayStation announced Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls , a 4v4 tag team fighter game from Arc System Works, well-known for Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear .
