Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Moves 10 Million Units, Nightreign Boasts 5 Million

The two most notable extensions of the Elden Ring universe have reached major milestones. Bandai Namco announced that DLC expansion Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has surpassed over 10 million units worldwide. Meanwhile, Elden Ring Nightreign —the standalone multiplayer co-op survival game that launched less than two months ago—has surpassed 5 million copies globally. Shadow of the Erdtree first launched on June 21, 2024 . The DLC opens up new areas for players to explore, complete with updates to the leveling system and new bosses and other challenges. Nightreign managed to leap past its first 2 million units less than 24 hours after launching on May 30, 2025 .
