Watch or listen to the full episode on Crunchyroll, YouTube or your favorite audio streaming platform. LeAlec: Nazeeh, in a previous episode we got to hear what your gateway was and we also know that Death Note brought you back into anime, but Shawn, what was your gateway anime, sir? Shawn: My gateway was Ninja Scroll at too young an age. LeAlec: That's funny, that's not the first time we've heard that. That's pretty awesome. Shawn: I was watching that and it was really intriguing, obviously for a young lad but as far as anime getting me into the biz, I used to watch Dragon Ball Z with Anthony Bowling and Caitlin Glass in college. We all went to the same school. And Cowboy Bebop was my jam the whole time literally and on screen. Lena: So, Nazeeh, previously you talk a little bit on your approach on how to voice Kafka. I want to know how that approach may have changed or how your take on it has changed for Season 2. Nazeeh: Uh... no changes! You know, it's like there is an understanding of greater stakes as the show continues and as recording continues. It's kind of understanding when to amplify said stakes but that being said, the core of the character is still very much the same. He's still a lovable, goofy, silly guy who can get down to business when it calls for it. I think a lot of approaching Kafka as a character is being able to still tap into the whimsy when it's needed and constantly go back and forth. Shawn: Did we agree to that? Did you change everything?! Nazeeh: I've changed ever since Kaiju blew up. News Featured in Episode 72 - Audio Only Anime Expo 2025: All the Big News from the Event!
