Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi! Manga Announces TV Anime Adaptation

Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi! (“Living in a One-Tatami Room!”), a four-panel comic by Kumako Hisama, has announced that the series will be adapted into a work of TV animation. No further details (such as the cast, the crew or the release date) were revealed at the time of this reporting, although manga author Kumako Hisama did publish a new illustration celebrating the announcement. The story of the series follows Meiko Morita, a second-year high school student who moves from the countryside to the big city of Tokyo in order to attend a new school. After arriving, Meiko ends up living and working at Hedgehog, a manga café that doubles as a girls' dormitory, where she meets a colorful cast of characters.
