Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle , a new feature film from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime franchise, opened in 452 theaters (including 59 IMAX theaters) across Japan on July 18. The franchise's second feature film, following Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba—The Movie: Mugen Train in 2020, earned 5.524 billion yen (37.6 million USD) on 3.843 million admissions in its first Friday-Sunday weekend, making a first-place debut according to Kogyo Tsushinsha . The three-day gross was 119.6% of that of Mugen Train . The cumulative total box office gross for the first four days, including Monday which was a national holiday (Marine Day) in Japan, reached 7.3 billion yen (49.7 million USD) on 5.16 million admissions. This made it the second-top grossing film of 2025 in Japan, only behind Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback with 14.47 billion yen (98.52 million USD).
