A Time Slip of 10,000 Years: Prime Rose Gets New Blu-ray Release from AnimEigo in 2026

Image via Osamu Tezuka official website AnimEigo announced during its panel at Anime NYC today the anime distributor will release a new Blu-ray of the anime movie A Time Slip of 10,000 Years: Prime Rose , based on the Osamu Tezuka manga of the same name, in 2026 in partnership with SkySet Entertainment. AnimEigo's Blu-ray release will be in 1080p and include the original Japanese audio track with subtitles and the newly-produced English dub by SkySet Entertainment that was released earlier this year . The recently produced English dub cast includes: KyLeigh Zimmerer as Emiya Tachi Jacob Eiseman as Gai Tanbara Christina Assaf Costello as Bunretsu Tanbara David Wald as Pilar John Swasey as Jinba Bryan Massey, Bradley Gareth, and others The English dub staff list includes: Director: Phebe Fabacher Engineer: Hayden Davis Adaptation: Kym Rose Timecoding: Ralph Villegas. The original Prime Rose manga by Osamu Tezuka was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion from 1982 to 1983. Tetsu Dezaki directed the 1983 A Time Slip of 10,000 Years: Prime Rose film, which was released as part of the Japanese TV charity event called "24-Hour Television: Love Saves the Earth." Keisuke Fujikawa wrote the screenplay, with Yuji Ono composing the music. The film is described as such: A powerful entity known as Death Mask hurls Kujukuri City, Japan, and Dallas, Texas, 10,000 years into the future, reshaping them into a ruthless battleground where only the strongest survive. Determined to shatter this tyrant’s hold on time itself, Gai Tanbara ventures into the dystopian future.
