Esports Organization Sentinels Teams Up with Haikyu!! and Crunchyroll for First Anime Collab

Sentinels, a North American esports organization, officially launched their first anime collaboration, and it’s with Haikyu!! . The collab arrives in partnership with Crunchyroll and launches today to coincide with the Sentinels’ playoff match debut in the VCT 2025 Americas Stage 2. Teamwear and lifestyle pieces come together to unite the worlds of “anime culture and esports performance,” including hoodies, graphic t-shirts, jerseys, shorts and a custom-designed water bottle. Anime and esports share the same cultural energy, and we’re excited to give our fans a collection that unites those worlds in an authentic and meaningful way.” Crunchyroll streams all of the Haikyu!! anime — based on the manga by Haruichi Furudate — and describes the series like so: Based off of the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Unfortunately the team is matched up against the "King of the Court" Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined. Source: Press release
