In its fifth weekend of August 15-17, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle earned 1.875 billion yen (12.67 million USD) on 1,218,000 admissions — only 2.23% down from the previous weekend — and kept its first place position at the Japanese box office now for five straight weekends, according to Kogyo Tsushinsha . The film's cumulative total gross reached 25,782,656,600 yen (174.27 million USD) on 18,272,941 admissions in 31 days since its release on July 18, according to the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba franchise's official X (formerly Twitter) . The five-week gross of Infinity Castle is 110.3% of the franchise's previous film in 2020, Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train , which earned 23.3 billion yen (157.47 million USD) by the end of its fifth weekend.
