The upcoming My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's TV anime published a character trailer focusing on Yoru (voiced by Sanae Kobayashi), a “Black Cat” monster that accompanies Akira and his companions after they meet in a dungeon. The trailer was released in celebration of Black Cat Appreciation Day. Seven Seas Entertainment releases English language versions of both the novel and the manga adaptation. Nobuyoshi Habara directs the TV anime adaptation at animation studio Sunrise.
