 Voice Actor Aki Toyosaki to Restrict Activities After Her Husband’s Passing
Image via Aki Toyosaki's agency website The official website of voice actor Aki Toyosaki announced today that she will limit some activities after the sudden passing of her husband last month. Toyosaki has canceled her appearance at the Animelo Summer Live 2025 "ThanXX!" in August, with other appearances now under consideration through the rest of the year. Toyosaki is known as the voice of Yui Hirasawa in K-On! and Aoi Inuyama in Laid-Back Camp . She is currently voicing Niikura in CITY THE ANIMATION and Homura Momiji in Dr. STONE . The voice actor also performs as a singer, doing so for K-On! and as part of the voice actor group Sphere, who were set to appear at Animelo Summer Live on August 30. The group will now perform with the three members of Haruka Tomatsu, Minako Kotobuki and Ayahi Takagaki. The voice actor was also set to appear at th e 7th Kyoto Animation Fan Appreciation Event in late October as part of a CITY THE ANIMATION panel. Her appearance is now under consideration with the news. According to the release on Toyosaki's website, Toyosaki's husband passed away last month due to a sudden subarachnoid hemorrhage. As such, Toyosaki and her agency, MusicRay'n, decided to restrict activities until she's ready to return to her usual work.  Toyosaki announced her marriage in October 2017 .
