Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc Officially Enters Japan’s Top 100 Box Office

After continuing to top the Japanese box office charts, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is now honored among some of the greatest films in history by entering Japan's box office Top 100 at 91st place . Reze Arc also continues to have great holds worldwide, including North America, where the movie came in at third at the weekend box office . According to Kogyo Tsushinsha , Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc has generated over 7.97 billion yen (US$52.09 million) from the sale of 5.21 million tickets as of November 3, making it the 91st highest-grossing film ever released in Japan. As Reze Arc enters the Top 100, the original 2002 Spider-Man film fell out of the Top 100 ranking. According to Sony Pictures Entertainment, Chainsaw Man has passed US$30.769 million at the domestic box office as of November 2. It is now the eighth-highest-grossing anime film in the territory, surpassing Dragon Ball Super: Broly 's domestic box office of US$30.712 million, and just under US$4 million away from JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 's domestic box office of US$34.542 million. Reze Arc was in second place at the weekend South Korea box office , pushing it to fifth place in the anime all-time charts for the country with a total of US$20.9 million earned, thanks to an additional US$1.2 million in its sixth weekend. Chainsaw Man is still the eighth most attended film of the year, according to South Korean film tracker KOBIS. As of November 2, Sony Pictures Entertainment estimates that Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc has reached US$139 million in its global box office, including Japan.
