New Assassination Classroom Anime Film Introduces Three Cast Additions, New Character

The upcoming film Gekijoban Ansatsu Kyoshitsu: Minna no Jikan (“Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everyone's Time”) has just added four new voice actors to the cast — or, rather, three new voice actors and a returning voice in a surprising role! Kikuko Inoue, Sayumi Suzushiro and Mai Kanazawa will all be joining the cast of the movie, which is part of the ongoing Assassination Classroom 10th anniversary celebration. Additionally, Mai Fuchigami (who plays the role of Nagisa Shiota in the series) will be appearing as a second character: Hotaru, a young woman who is the spitting image of Nagisa. My Goddess , will appear as Azusa, the mother of new character Hotaru. Azusa runs an izakaya, and she and her daughter find themselves in need of Koro-sensei's help. Suzushiro (Satono Crown in Umamusume: Pretty Derby ) plays Kaho Tsuchiya, while Kanazawa (Himeko Susono in Sound! Euphonium ) appears as Kokona Tagawa. Both characters are students from other classes (3C and 3B, respectively) who appeared in the manga but did not make it into the original anime adaptation. They will finally make their animated debut in this film. The film premieres in Japan on March 20, 2026 . Shueisha serialized the original Assassination Classroom manga by Yusei Matsui from July 2012 to March 2016 in their Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine, and the series was also released in 21 collected volumes.
