Original Anime Film L’étoile de Paris en Fleur Announced for March 13, 2026 Release

An original anime film titled L’étoile de Paris en Fleur was announced this morning by distributor Shochiku, coming from the mind of Kiki's Delivery Service character designer and animator Katsuya Kondo and ONE PIECE FILM: RED director Goro Taniguchi for a March 13, 2026 release in Japan. The first teaser visual featuring the main character, Fujiko, was released and drawn by Kondo, alongside her voice actor and the rest of the film staff. L’étoile de Paris en Fleur Anime Film Teaser VIsual Fujiko will be voiced by actor Ami Toma, who is best known for playing Meguru Aizawa in the currently airing live-action Chihayafuru: Full Circle series and voicing Kokoro Anzai in the Lonely Castle in the Mirror anime film. Fujiko character visuals Goro Taniguchi will direct L’étoile de Paris en Fleur based on concepts created by Taniguchi and Katsuya Kondo ( Kiki's Delivery Service concept designer and character designer) at ARVO Animation. Yu Yamashita ( Pompo: The Cinéphile ) designs the characters for animation, Reiko Yoshida ( The Colors Within ) writes the screenplay and Takayuki Hattori ( Martian Successor Nadesico ) is composing the music. They meet each other by chance in Yokohama and are then led by fate to reunite in Paris in the early 1900s, where they strive to pursue their dreams together.
